Volleyball Recap: Montclair Comes Up Short

Montclair lost against Chaffey back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cavaliers fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montclair couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Chaffey a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 20-25, 33-31.

Montclair's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Chaffey, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Montclair will take on rival Don Lugo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chaffey is set to square off against their familiar foe Chino at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
