Football Game Preview: Elmwood Royals vs. McComb Panthers

The Elmwood Royals are taking a road trip to square off against the McComb Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elmwood has given up an average of 40.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Elmwood's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Van Buren on Friday. They were beaten by the Black Knights 41-0.

Meanwhile, McComb never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-0 win over Riverdale. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.

Elmwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for McComb, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
