Maddison Kelley Game Report: vs Dover

Conotton Valley had to settle for second on Monday, but Maddison Kelley sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Kelley as she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Kelley and Conotton Valley will head out on the road to challenge Malvern at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Kelley's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Rockets' 13-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Kelley and the Rockets surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
