Flag Football Recap: Northern Durham Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Northern Durham's offense. They were beaten by the Riverside-Durham Pirates 58-0 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-0 two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverside-Durham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Au'Nehstii Hagans, who threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushed for 30 yards and one TD. The Pirates' leading receiver Nijla Epps was Hagans' top target yet again, picking up 158 receiving yards and three scores.

Northern Durham's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Riverside-Durham, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Northern Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverside-Durham, they will take on Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
