D.C. Everest won the last time they faced Wausau East and Lilly Peterson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Evergreens came out on top against the Lumberjacks by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Peterson, who had 37 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.

The victory didn't come easy: Wausau East scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22.

D.C. Everest's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Wausau East, their record is now 4-18.
