Basketball Recap: Baldwin Starts Season with Win on the Road

Baldwin had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 80-52 victory over the Valley Stream Central Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bruins also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Valley Stream Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Baldwin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley Stream Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 16, 2025. As for Valley Stream Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Great Neck North/Great Neck South at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
