Basketball Recap: South Harrison Falls Short of Mid-Buchanan in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, South Harrison couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 54-45 to the Mid-Buchanan Dragons on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-27 back in February.

London Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mid-Buchanan, going 5-for-9 on her way to 18 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Maya Dillman was another key player, putting up 11 points and six assists.

South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Mid-Buchanan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

South Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mid-Buchanan, they have already played their next game, a 48-43 defeat against Lone Jack on the 8th.
