In what's become a running theme this season, Slaton gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Shallowater Mustangs with a sharp 14-5 victory. The win was nothing new for Slaton as they're now sitting on four straight.

Kolbi McCord was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. McCord was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs. She hasn't dropped below three RBI for four straight games.

In other batting news, Kamryn Barrera was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Slaton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Shallowater, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.
