Basketball Game Preview: Juniata Indians vs. Halifax Wildcats

The Juniata Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Halifax Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Juniata will be strutting in after a win while Halifax will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Juniata earned a 52-44 victory over East Juniata. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Halifax's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Tri-Valley 49-45.

Halifax's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Juniata, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Juniata was dealt a bruising 69-34 loss at the hands of Halifax in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Juniata avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
