Basketball Recap: Honey Grove Snags Tenth Victory in Last 11 Games

There's no place like home for Honey Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Tom Bean Tomcats by a score of 45-37 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-31 back in January.

Despite the loss, Tom Bean still got an impressive performance from Dyson Farris, who went 6 of 10 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Chase Stratton, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Honey Grove is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Tom Bean, they moved to 15-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Honey Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-53 win against Bland on the 31st. Tom Bean has also already played their next contest, a 53-43 defeat against Sam Rayburn on the 31st.
