Basketball Recap: Duncan Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 17-17 at halftime, Duncan was not quite Ada's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 51-41 to the Ada Cougars. The Demons have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Miilan Riley was the offensive standout of the game as he went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Wofford, who posted four points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Duncan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ada, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Duncan has already played their next contest, a 58-41 victory against Capitol Hill on the 13th. As for Ada, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-36 defeat against Putnam City on the 13th.
