Volleyball Recap: Lugoff-Elgin Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Lugoff-Elgin lost to Camden back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Demons put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Demons have posted against the Bulldogs since September 7, 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-22.

Maren Cox went supernova, getting 12 digs, ten blocks, and three aces.

Cox wasn't the only good server: Lugoff-Elgin was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Lugoff-Elgin pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lugoff-Elgin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sumter on the 4th. As for Camden, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Richland Northeast on the 4th.
