Preview: Texas Wind vs. CenTex HomeSchool Chargers
Texas Wind has been on the road for eight straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the CenTex HomeSchool Chargers at 7:30 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Texas Wind came up short against Valor Preparatory Academy and fell 62-49.
Meanwhile, CenTex HomeSchool didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Memorial Christian Academy on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 30-25 victory.
CenTex HomeSchool's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kolton Skinner, who scored 12 points. Keith Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Texas Wind's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for CenTex HomeSchool, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Everything came up roses for Texas Wind against CenTex HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in January of 2022 as the squad secured a 101-65 victory. Will Texas Wind repeat their success, or does CenTex HomeSchool have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
