Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Takes a Loss

Wyandotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Sumner Academy Sabres 68-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-47 back in December of 2024.

Wyandotte's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Sumner Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyandotte will host Highland Park on Friday. Highland Park will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Wyandotte surely won't give up without a fight. Sumner Academy has already played their next match (against Atchison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
