Volleyball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short at Home Against Incarnate Word

Warren unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Incarnate Word Shamrocks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Shamrocks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Warren wouldn't go down easily and took Incarnate Word into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 19-25, 15-5.

Coming up, Warren will challenge Medina Valley at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Incarnate Word, they will take on SA Roosevelt at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
