Basketball Recap: Jones Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Jones hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 65-58 win over the Horizon Hawks on Tuesday.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bradley Webb, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 17 points and four steals. That's the most steals Webb has posted since back in December of 2023. Diego Rojas was another key player, going 7 of 14 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds.

Jones' victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Horizon, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Jones will face off against Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Horizon, they will square off against Lake Buena Vista on Friday.
