Football Recap: Livingston Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Livingston fell victim to Hilmar and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 26-0. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Alexis Ross threw for 67 yards on six of 15 attempts. Harnoor Jagait was her top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

Livingston's loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-5. As for Hilmar, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Livingston will venture away from home to take on St. Mary's at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Hilmar, they have already played their next match, a 38-0 victory against Los Banos on the 28th.
