Volleyball Recap: Forest Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Forest Park suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Thursday. They came up short against the Charles J. Colgan Sharks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-13.

Forest Park's offense was headlined by Adonia Ray and Leah Eggleton, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Alexa Eggleton and her nine assists. Finally, Emerson O'Connor kept Forest Park's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Among those leading the charge was Elizabeth Robinson, who had 16 assists and three digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Forest Park and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Charles J. Colgan, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Forest Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Gar-Field on the 20th. As for Charles J. Colgan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Patriot on the 20th.
