Soccer Recap: Gateway Regional's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Gateway Regional came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lee Wildcats, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Gateway Regional's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gateway Regional fell to 2-1. As for Lee, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway Regional will host Westfield Technical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lee, they will face off against Lenox Memorial at 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
