Basketball Recap: Granada Hills Charter Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Granada Hills Charter can now relate to. They fell 66-53 to the Poly Parrots on Wednesday. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Parrots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.

Granada Hills Charter moved to 16-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Poly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-9 record this season.

Granada Hills Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poly, they will square off against Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grant comes in on four and Poly on 14.
