Volleyball Recap: Desert Hills' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Desert Hills entered their tilt with Hurricane on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Desert Hills got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 32-30.

Desert Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kai James, who had 18 digs and two assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolu Afualo, who had 13 assists and seven digs.

Desert Hills' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. As for Hurricane, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-17.
