Volleyball Recap: John Yowell Academy Takes a Loss

John Yowell Academy lost against Tri-City Christian two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to Tri-City Christian. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Yowell Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-17.

John Yowell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tri-City Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Yowell Academy will venture away from home to challenge Winston Salem Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Tri-City Christian and Glenn will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-City Christian are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
