League recap: Central win leads to rise in state rank

Central moved up to 299 from 329 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Interscholastic. The Blue Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Northeast Law & Public Service 27-26.

The Vikings extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Central, 27-26. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Hassan Burnett has thrown for 2091 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Tyler Bluett has 50 catches for 825 yards. Kevin Coulter leads the league in rushing with 740 yards.
