Chicago Christian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 31st.

Chase Sytsma and Josh Sedakis did most of the damage at the plate: Sytsma went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double, while Sedakis went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Sedakis has posted since back in March. Austin Assink was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Chicago Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Marian Central Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

Chicago Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
