Softball Recap: St. John's Cadets vs. Elizabeth Seton Roadrunners
St. John came into Friday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Elizabeth Seton Roadrunners on Friday as they made off with a 10-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

Skylar Kass spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Nichole Brinkman and Danielle Rochac did most of the damage at the plate: Brinkman went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Rochac got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most RBI Brinkman has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Willenbucher, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
St. John's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Elizabeth Seton, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
