South Whidbey came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the University Prep Pumas. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 24th.

South Whidbey's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-9. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for University Prep, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

As of now, neither South Whidbey nor the Pumas have any future games scheduled.
