Brenham's loss dropped their record down to 10-6-2. As for Rudder, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Brenham got the 'W' when the teams last played on February 6th against Rudder by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
