Baseball Recap: North Marion Takes a Loss

The matchup between North Marion and Fairmont Senior on Wednesday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Huskies came up short against the Polar Bears, falling 17-6. The Huskies have struggled against the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Fairmont Senior, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Fairmont Senior will challenge Doddridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Marion will be paying especially close attention to the Polar Bears' contest: after the Polar Bears face off against Bridgeport, they'll take on North Marion again at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
