Southeast Polk is a perfect 9-0 against Lincoln since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the Railsplitters. One thing working in Southeast Polk's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.

Southeast Polk lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Norwalk, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Rams' pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout on Saturday.

Lincoln hadn't beaten Ames on the road since June 22, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Railsplitters came out on top against the Little Cyclones by a score of 8-3. The game marked the Railsplitters' most dominant victory of the season.

Southeast Polk is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-18 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.

Southeast Polk beat Lincoln 17-13 when the teams last played back in June of 2022. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Railsplitters turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
