            Baseball Recap: Union County Braves vs. Henderson County Colonels        
        
		
        
        
            Union County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Henderson County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Braves fell just short of the Colonels by a score of  12-10 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  loss the Braves have suffered  since April 14th.
  Tate Nobles made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run and three  RBI.  Gavin Keelen also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
Union County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Henderson County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
 Looking ahead, Union County will take on Owensboro Catholic at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Aces' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Henderson County, they will square off against Christian County at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
