Basketball Recap: Charlotte Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lansing Catholic

There's no place like home for Charlotte, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They had just enough and edged the Lansing Catholic Cougars out 42-40. This was a revenge game for the Orioles: when they faced off against the Cougars back in December of 2024, they had to take a 73-56 loss.

Despite the loss, Lansing Catholic still got an impressive performance from Drew Tolfree, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Seth Hahnenberg, who went 5 of 9 en route to 10 points.

Charlotte's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Lansing Catholic, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Charlotte will face off against Sexton at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Lansing Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-58 loss against Waverly on the 3rd.
