Basketball Recap: Danville Find Success

Danville played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They snuck past the Acorn Tigers with a 58-54 victory. This was payback for the Little Johns, who suffered a 77-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Acorn, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danville will face off against Nemo Vista at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Acorn, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
