The University City Centurions will face off against the Central Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

University City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They secured a 48-42 W over Madison. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Centurions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

University City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Deshaun Hille led the charge by rushing for 268 yards and four scores while picking up 13.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 72 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hille really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. DJ Ferguson also helped out with an impressive 91 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Central strolled past Bishop's with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-17.

University City better keep an eye on Fidel Jr Camarena. He was instrumental in Central's win, rushing for 123 yards on only 12 carries. Those 123 rushing yards gave Jr Camarena a new career-high.

Central's run defense was locked in: Bishop's could only muster 1.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Joseph Aispuro for the heroic effort on defense: he. Central's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.94 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 3.87 on average over their last three games.
