Basketball Game Preview: Vista PEAK Prep Bison vs. Rancho Rams

The Vista PEAK Prep Bison and the Rancho Rams will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Vista PEAK Prep and five for Rancho.

Vista PEAK Prep came into this matchup off a tough 21-point defeat two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Schurr by a score of 74-72 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bison have suffered since January 22nd.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Marco Little Jr, who made all 8 shots he took for 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Williams, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 14 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Rancho might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Warren an easy 83-58 victory.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
