Soccer Game Preview: Guyer vs. Hebron

The Guyer Wildcats will take on the Hebron Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Guyer is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Coppell, who was ranked third at the time (Guyer was ranked seventh). Guyer fell just short of Coppell by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Maggie Cavalle, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Hebron was not quite Marcus' equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Guyer's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2-1. As for Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
