Football Recap: Northampton County Skates Past Northwest Halifax with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren County, Northampton County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 34-6 win over the Northwest Halifax Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Northampton County was led to victory by Amare Gills and William Whitaker. Gills rushed for 80 yards and a pair of scores, while Whitaker rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Tacoriius Williams was in the mix as well, providing the Jaguars with one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northampton County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Northampton County's record now sits at 2-6. As for Northwest Halifax, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
