Basketball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 67-58 to the South Paulding Spartans. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 57-54.

Lithia Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for South Paulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Lithia Springs will square off against Kennesaw Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Paulding has already played their next contest (against Villa Rica), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
