Connetquot came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lindenhurst Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

Connetquot never let Lindenhurst on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-15.

Leading Connetquot to victory were Elena Carro and Gisele Trzaskalski. Carro had five digs and two aces, while Trzaskalski had eight kills, eight digs, two aces, and one block. Trzaskalski is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Leah White also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Connetquot was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Connetquot's victory bumped their record up to 19-2-1. As for Lindenhurst, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Connetquot will welcome Huntington at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lindenhurst, they will challenge Newfield at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
