Baseball Preview: Columbus Falcons vs. Warren Central Vikings
Columbus is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. Hayes Loper was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Warren Central is 2-1 when Loper posts two or more runs, but 4-7 otherwise.
Columbus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. Warren Central's win bumped their record up to 6-8.
