Volleyball Recap: Arlington Heights Beats Wyatt for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Arlington Heights came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wyatt Chaparrals 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Arlington Heights got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Harper Sheppard out in front who had 28 assists and ten aces. Sheppard has been hot for a while, having posted 25 or more assists the last ten times she's played. Leandra Banks was another key player, getting seven digs and two assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Arlington Heights was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matches.

Arlington Heights' win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Wyatt, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Coincidentally, Arlington Heights and Wyatt will both be playing North Side the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Steers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chaparrals will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
