Volleyball Recap: Paris Wildcats vs. Bells Panthers
Paris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bells Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
Riley Nelms Nelms paced Paris' offense, picking up eight kills. Nelms really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Audrey Del Toro controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Paris' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bells, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.
Paris wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Blue Ridge on the 22nd. As for Bells, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Grayson Christian on the 23rd.
