Baseball Game Preview: West Catholic Falcons vs. Wayland Wildcats

For the second straight game, West Catholic will face off against Wayland. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Wildcats at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. West Catholic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, it was close, but West Catholic sidestepped Wayland for a 3-1 win.

Cru Visconti spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ethan Gottleber, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Josh Murray also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
