Basketball Recap: Prince George's Christian Academy Victorious

Prince George's Christian Academy was handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks 52-49. This was payback for the Flyers, who suffered a 53-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Oladejy Olorungbohinmi was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 67% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Kuek Kuek, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Miller School of Albemarle still got an impressive performance from Connor Lyons, who went 7-for-15 on his way to 19 points and seven boards. Gabe D'Alessandro was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

The victory got Prince George's Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Miller School of Albemarle, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Prince George's Christian Academy will take on Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they will take on Hoggard in a tournament on Thursday.
