Volleyball Recap: Norcom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Norcom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Maury Commodores, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commodores this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Norcom was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Maury's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-10.

Norcom's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Maury, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Norcom will challenge rival Booker T. Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Maury is set to square off against their familiar foe Churchland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
