Basketball Recap: Southeast Alamance's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Southeast Alamance won the last time they faced Seaforth and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southeast Alamance Stallions came out on top against the Seaforth Hawks by a score of 56-43. Given the Stallions' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Hawks are ranked 318th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Southeast Alamance found their leader in freshman Donnie Fairley, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fairley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Drew Easter, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Southeast Alamance and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Seaforth, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

Southeast Alamance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-39 win against North Moore on the 8th. Seaforth has also already played their next game, a 62-37 loss against Northwood on the 9th.
