Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Xander Vernon and Colsen Neal Lead Crimson Cliffs to Victory

Crimson Cliffs won the last time they faced Snow Canyon and things went their way on Thursday too. Crimson Cliffs walked away with a 3-1 win over Snow Canyon. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 28-26, 15-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Crimson Cliffs was led to victory by Colsen Neal and Xander Vernon. Neal had 18 digs and one assist, while Vernon had 13 kills, four digs, and four aces. Neal has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan Dana, who had 16 assists and seven digs.

Crimson Cliffs' record now sits at 9-4. As for Snow Canyon, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-7.
