Soccer Game Preview: Covert vs. Brandywine

The Covert Bulldogs will square off against the Brandywine Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Covert's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Covert's offense. They lost 9-0 to Phoenix on Friday.

Meanwhile, Brandywine didn't have quite enough to beat Cassopolis on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Covert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Brandywine, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2.

Everything went Covert's way against Brandywine in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as Covert made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
