Bethany Community is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight game on Friday. They were dealt a 72-39 defeat at the hands of Leadership Academy. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Falcons are ranked 261st).

Meanwhile, Bishop McGuinness came tearing into Monday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 56-45 win over the Bobcats.

Bishop McGuinness pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Bethany Community, their loss dropped their record down to 3-23.

Bethany Community was dealt a bruising 59-21 defeat at the hands of Bishop McGuinness when the teams last played back in January. Can Bethany Community avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
