Baseball Recap: Mt. Spokane Falls Short of Kennewick in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mt. Spokane couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Kennewick Lions by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Mt. Spokane's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Kennewick, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Mt. Spokane nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
