Softball Recap: Bishop McNamara Comes Up Short

Bishop McNamara made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Our Lady of Good Counsel, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 9-7 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Christina Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and two stolen bases while going 2-for-4. Jaslyne Ivey also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Bishop McNamara now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.
